Put my van in too have a repair done. Timing chain .. hes apparently damaged my engine on the 4.1.2024 ... yes we all make mistakes Not happy because he keeps saying his insurance company will be in touch. I have been very patient 6 to 7 weeks ... i have now lost my job ... money coming out bills to pay . No money going in .... not happy sleepless nights. Gone down the legal route trading standards which i didnt want to do. He called me impatient 🙄... its my livelihood

Can't rate Rob highly enough. He's been great for mine and my wife's cars over the past few years. Nothing is too much trouble. He is 100% reliable, explains technical issues simply (for simpletons, like me), has a great sense of humour, and is very reasonably priced. Don't use anyone else.

Absolutely terrible mechanic, i thought he was someone I could trust, it was far from it. He couldn’t do the simple job I asked him to do. I needed a motor wiper linkage doing. Rob said to me I’ll be better off ordering the parts myself so I did that’s what I did. So on Thursday I left my car with him all day as I had to get to work. After work I went to pick my car up & the wipers seemed fine, I was please because I thought he’d done the job. I was due to go away to Staffordshire over the weekend so it was urgent that it needed doing as it forecasted rain. Anyway yesterday I went to Alton Towers, it was late and driving back home with my friend, it had been raining most of the day, and it was that horrible spray, bare in mind it was dark about 9pm last night, driving on Staffordshire countryside roads late in the rain, when my windscreen wipers stopped working, it was very dangerous, it could’ve caused me to have an accident, because I couldn’t see. Luckily I’d just managed to pull over & clear my windscreen myself, but only temporarily though because it was raining, bare in mind I needed to get back home to Sheffield & my friend also needed to get back home. Without a clear windscreen, I could barely see. I’m absolutely fuming with Rob, he had not done the simple job, I’d asked him to do & id put my trust in him to do. When I rang him this morning to make the complaint , the customer service was absolutely shocking, he doesn’t know the meaning of it. In fact the worst experience ever. He started shouting at me and tried twisting it round on me and saying it’s my fault. He was the one who was meant to do the job, which he hasn’t or else my wipers wouldn’t stop working, they’ve gone back to square one to the reason I took it into the garage for, for the linkage to be done, he hasn’t done it or else my wipers would be working with no problem. It’s the fact that Rob also put me in danger, I could’ve had an accident because I trusted that he’d done the job that I’d asked him to do and he hadn’t. The other thing also is my steering is also out of alignment since being in the garage and he also twisted that round on me also. He hasn’t looked after my car either. I may have only got a Nissan micra but I expect my car to be treated the same way as any other car and I expect it to come out in the condition it went in. But with Rob this was certainly not the case. I shall not be using him ever again. And I absolutely wouldn’t recommend him, unless you want a cowboy service, because this is experience I received. To be honest I wouldn’t give one star.

I'd purchased a car in the area and because I was 300 miles away, wanted to get someone independent to give the car the once over. Spoke to Rob about what I needed and he was really helpful and knowledgeable. Even though the inspection never took place due to the seller of the car, rob was really accommodating in trying you organise the inspection and I would have no doubt in his professionalism of the task. A positive example of excellent customer care and professionalism. If ever I was in the area or knew anyone needing a garage in the area would have no doubt in recommending them. Many thanks.
