This is one of the best garage experiences I've had in while. After buying a car with a oil leak I booked it in with these, within a couple hours of them having the car I received a phone call to inform me that the previous owners had bodged the rocker gasket with instant gasket. Other things were also found to be an issue due to previous owners or due to the oil leak. R&j was happy enough to sort these issues out for me while they had the car. Rob and Matthew was very friendly and kept me updated on everything. Definitely recommend and will be using them again.

Went above and beyond to help me get back on the road after a nasty pot hole caused damaged both my wheel and tire. I turned up out of the blue and the guys managed to source a tire and worked tirelessly to fix my wheel and get me on the road within about an hour. I was holidaying so they were absolute life savers and I could carry on with my plans. Not only was this was done at a very fair price but I could tell they genuinely had my interests at heart - a new wheel would've not only taken my car off the road for a while (and ruined my holiday), but also cost a bomb. I got so lucky to have been staying nearby. Thank you so much!

Usual fantastic service from Rob and the gents at R & J. Caddy van came back driving better than when I bought it, after a full service and rollbar linkage replacement. Very reasonable price and quick turnaround

Had a funny noise coming from the front wheel of the car, I was leaving Matlock in a couple of days so was desperate. They said to come down the next morning and even though they were busy they stuck my car on the ramps and have a look at the problem. Really grateful.

I am sure they maybe okay, but my experience has been a disaster. I bought a van online (my mistake) and james who no longer works there said £600 repairs, Rob promised they would do it and give loads of excuses over weeks/months and was not nice when i challenged him then he quoted £1000+, i said i would go up and collect it and he went away for the weekend (maybe purposely?) so never met him, the other mechanics confirmed that the van had not ever been worked on or even been in the garage in robs absence and it was all lies.. I would say never leave your vehicle their and get it done during 1 day, they take too much work on, poor pricing, and cant manage time or customers is my experience. I cant comment on there work as they never did anything. Be very wary of them and get specific costs and timings from them. you have been warned......
